There can be very few country house hotels in the country as beautifully located as Hunstrete House and that lend themselves so perfectly for private dining. The sparkling crystal chandeliers add further distinction to Popham's Restaurant, in the extremely capable hands of our Restaurant Manager. Decorated in European white and lovely shades of green, this is a room that makes dining at Hunstrete even more pleasurable. It looks out onto the Italianate, flower-filled, sun-trapped courtyard, where in the late spring and summer, you can enjoy al fresco dining.
For smaller private occasions, such as directors or partners meetings, the lovely Quail room is available, seating up to fifteen comfortably. This room is especially popular with professional firms and companies in Bath looking for peace, quiet and privacy. Conversely, the delightful Garden Room can seat up to forty for larger meetings and conferences.
For still larger functions, we can arrange a marquee for you situated on the lawn which will cater for up to 120 guests. This particularly picturesque setting has views over the walled garden and the west wing of the house.
